Me gustaría mas tener como principio evitar dependencias de linguas en
nuestros nombres.  FSFLA, por ejemplo, és FSFLA en qualquier lingua,
pero la expansión del acrónimo cambía de Fundación Software Libre para
Fundação Software Livre para Free Software Foundation para Fondation
Logiciel Libre (I hope I got the spelling right :-)

Necessary, it certainly isn't, but any attitude that might sound like
privileging one language in detriment of the others had better be
avoided.  It would just lead to people feeling excluded or left out
instead of contributing to FSFLA, and we'd better avoid such feelings.

It is probably worth pointing out that Brazilians do feel annoyed
about stuff that claims to be Latin-America-friendly and offers only
Spanish as a language.  We have to be *very* careful to not trigger
such reactions in Brazil.


Heh.  Que tal essa mensagem tri-língüe? :-)  Não foi de propósito, mas
agora que percebi vou deixar assim mesmo, pode ser?
