Only one person has complained, saying that it made their computer start
to lock up randomly and could only be recovered by pressing & hold down
on the power button. I was not able to find out what was going on.
Everyone else has said they've experienced no problems.

Trisquel automates the modification of packages taken from Ubuntu by
running so-called Helpers [0] on said packages. The Helper for the kernel
named Linux [1] invokes a modified version of the Linux-libre deblob
script. (It is modified so as to catch the extra proprietary junk that
has been added.)

Getting this into Trisquel is "just" a matter of updating the Helper in
the appropriate way. One way would be that, once the appropriate changes
are incorporated into Linux-libre's deblob-<kver>, those changes could
also be pulled into Trisquel.
