Hello Linux-libre,
I was told by Purism or wikipedia, that PureOS is bundled with a Debian type kernel, or rather, a kernel that is pruned of proprietary code. I could just believe those statements, but I prefer a Linux-libre kernel. I cannot be so sure about a partially free kernel. So is there a way to get CPU architecture support for Librem 5's PureOS CPU architecture variant? I know that this product could be quite expensive, but is it a smartphone on its way to the libre direction. I believe that configuring the smartphone type OS's kernel would be it, but GNU Boot firmware support will take time.
