We're in full agreement.  It's very bad, and this practice should be
put to an end.  What I was trying to say was that this being part of
the bill was not as bad as the DRM matter, because while logging is
common existing practice, and courts already have power to demand
providers to provide that information, and even to collect it if they
didn't before.  So in this regard it's nearly a nop, whereas the other
provisions introduce a bunch of brand new "crimes".
