It does work on Fedora.  There are some differences in packaging between
CentOs/RHEL derivatives and OpenSUSE. Not sure if this affects kernel
rpms, would need to check more closely.

For Fedora, regular kernel is concurrently installed following wiki
directions, so one has to set priority for appropriate one to boot.
