What about that story that portuguese and spanish speakers understand
each other? ;-)
If you people allow me to make my point again, this statement is
really, far from the truth.
We are allegedly supposed to speak "portuñol" here, but the reality is
most of messages to the list
are in plain spanish, which stops me from reading most of them.

Of course, there may be people who does not understand english, which
just shifts the problem.
But I reserve me the right to, given the example raised, express this
opinion again ;-)
